Day after: Final thoughts on Notre Dame’s impressive win over Stanford

Notre Dame dominated Stanford in a 58-7 victory during their annual Irish Wear Green game. Freshman Jonaz Walton spearheaded the offense with over 200 total yards and two touchdowns, including a 95-yard scoring run, while Nolan James Jr.

added 73 rushing yards. Quarterback CJ Carr completed 14 of 20 passes for 181 yards and three scores despite an uncharacteristically shaky performance.

Defensively, Boubacar Traore stood out with a sack-fumble and an interception, while Drayk Bowen recorded the most tackles for the team. The Irish held a 44-0 lead before allowing the Cardinal their only points late in the third quarter.
