Following an opening-week 24-22 defeat against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn addressed several roster members, including Mike Sainristil, Nick Allegretti, and Sonny Styles. Washington rallied with two fourth-quarter touchdowns and had an opportunity to take the lead, but their late two-point conversion attempt failed.
