Dan Quinn talks about Mike Sainristil, Nick Allegretti, and Sonny Styles

Following an opening-week 24-22 defeat against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn addressed several roster members, including Mike Sainristil, Nick Allegretti, and Sonny Styles. Washington rallied with two fourth-quarter touchdowns and had an opportunity to take the lead, but their late two-point conversion attempt failed.

Both Quinn and rookie passer Jayden Daniels broke down the narrow loss, which saw promising defensive play from the front seven as well as Styles, alongside notable contributions from Antonio Williams and Tyler Owens. However, struggles elsewhere, including Allegretti's showing, contributed to the missed chances that ultimately sealed the two-point outcome.
