Cricket South Africa posted a deficit of R440.6 million during the 2025-26 fiscal cycle, driven by a truncated home schedule, a stronger local currency, and reduced media rights earnings. Despite the recent downturn, executive leadership noted that the organization concludes its current four-year financial block with a net surplus totaling R492.9 million.

Additional financial strain is anticipated for the upcoming 2026-27 period as upcoming men's and women's series against major international opponents are projected to miss profitability targets.
