The Indianapolis Colts have pivoted regarding running back Jonathan Taylor, with the front office now willing to listen to offers from other organizations. Following the firing of general manager Chris Ballard and the departures of Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, trade talks involving Taylor have become active and ongoing with multiple interested suitors.
Taylor has produced 587 yards and eight rushing touchdowns over seven appearances in the current campaign while playing on a multi-year extension signed prior to the season. Head coach Shane Steichen previously noted that the star offensive weapon had not formally requested a departure despite the ongoing franchise overhaul.
