Manchester United's players, not Michael Carrick, should shoulder the blame after embarrassing loss to Chelsea

Manchester United players have faced criticism for shifting blame onto club leadership and coaching staff despite their own poor performance in a recent defeat. While squad members have voiced concerns regarding recruitment and tactical decisions, the team's failure at Stamford Bridge was primarily driven by individual errors on the pitch.

Specifically, a lack of discipline proved costly during the match, as a player was dismissed after receiving two yellow cards in quick succession, directly leading to the decisive penalty for the opposition.
