Curt Cignetti reveals Josh Hoover’s key differences from Fernando Mendoza amid strong Indiana season

Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti recently discussed the transition from former signal-caller Fernando Mendoza to current starter Josh Hoover. While Mendoza guided the program to a national title last year, Cignetti noted that his previous quarterback benefited from greater roster depth.

Hoover, a transfer from TCU, has performed efficiently this season with 1,741 passing yards and 18 touchdowns against only one interception. The Hoosiers currently hold a 7-1 record as they prepare for a matchup against Minnesota this Saturday at 3:30 ET.
