Colorado State defensive coordinator Tyson Summers left team mid-game after he was replaced as playcaller

During a blowout loss to Oregon State, Colorado State defensive coordinator Tyson Summers exited the sideline mid-game after head coach Jim Mora Jr. stripped him of his playcalling duties following a rough first quarter.

Kenny McClendon took over defensive signal-calling for the remainder of the contest, which ended in a 56-26 defeat that dropped the Rams' defense further down the national rankings.
