Coaches Poll Punishes Michigan for Last-Second Iowa Loss

Following a dramatic one-point loss at home, Michigan plummeted six spots to No. 24 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.

The Wolverines controlled much of the matchup against Iowa before surrendering a late touchdown and failing a crucial conversion, resulting in a 20-19 defeat. Meanwhile, the victorious Hawkeves climbed three positions to No.

14 in the rankings. Michigan will now look to rebound as they prepare to face Minnesota on the road before getting a bye week ahead of their upcoming clash with Penn State.
