Carreras magic lights up Bath win over Harlequins

Bath secured a comfortable thirty-three to seventeen bonus-point triumph over Harlequins in their opening fixture of the new campaign. Santiago Carreras provided the standout moment of the contest by flicking a kick over an opponent's head before catching the ball one-handed and racing clear to touch down beneath the posts.

Dan du Preez, Joe Cokanasiga, and Dan Frost also crossed the whitewash during a dominant opening half that established a twenty-eight to ten advantage for the visitors. Will Porter, Chandler Cunningham-South, and Pedro Delgado responded for the hosts after the interval, but Ewan Richards sealed the outcome with a late try.
