Carlos Alcaraz says if he thinks Alexander Zverev will struggle to find motivation now he is world number one

Following his victory over Tommy Paul to advance to the semi-finals at the Vienna Open, Carlos Alcaraz discussed Alexander Zverev securing the top spot in the ATP rankings. Alcaraz, who achieved the same milestone at a young age after capturing the 2022 US Open crown, recalled experiencing a significant dip in his own drive and form once his primary goal was accomplished.

Despite those past struggles, the Spaniard expressed confidence that Zverev will maintain his ambition moving forward.
