Brawl breaks out after Deltona victory at Matanzas; coaches, police intervene

Following a 21-12 football outcome on Thursday evening, a physical confrontation erupted in the post-game handshaking procession. Coaches and law enforcement personnel stepped in to separate competing teenagers after a shove escalated into a large pile-up on the field, which took about a minute and a half to resolve.

Deltona leader Matt Martin noted that his squad secured the win during this rescheduled fixture, while opposing mentor Matt Forrest indicated that officials would examine video footage of the altercation.
