Bobby Witt Jr. named finalist for AL MVP award

Following the conclusion of the World Series, the league announced the finalists for its annual accolades on Monday. Kansas City shortstop Bobby Witt Jr.

secured a nomination for the American League Most Valuable Player honor for the second time in his professional career, joining finalists Yordan Alvarez and Junior Caminero in the running. The winner will be officially revealed on November 12 at six in the evening central time via MLB Network.
