Blades Brown Leads a Korn Ferry Finale With PGA Tour Cards in Play

Blades Brown holds a one-shot lead after a 68 on Saturday to close at 16 under par in the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at The Federal Club in Glen Allen, Virginia. The 19-year-old is just one clear of Austin Hitt, who sits at 15 under, as both players prepare for the final round.

Brown, who has reached the 54-hole lead three times before without winning, now seeks his first Korn Ferry Tour victory. His strategy focuses on small, manageable goals—like waking up on time and targeting greens—rather than dwelling on the high-stakes consequences of a potential PGA Tour card or record-breaking achievement.

With a two-shot cushion over Barend Botha and four shots ahead of a group of five tied for fourth, Brown’s path to victory hinges on maintaining his composure under pressure.
