How did Northern Kentucky golfers finish in KHSAA state tournaments?

October 10, 2026

Northern Kentucky golfers delivered mixed results at the KHSAA state tournaments this fall. In the girls' championship, St.

Henry’s Reese Anthony stood out as the region’s top performer, finishing 10th overall with an eight-over-par 152 across two days. Anthony’s strong showing included rounds of 75 and 77, while Ryle’s Elizabeth Dickson narrowly missed the top 10 with a 155 and a tie for 12th.

Other NKY golfers like Pendleton County’s Taylor Bruener (22nd, 161), Notre Dame’s Maria Penaranda (34th, 165), and Ryle’s Lacey Wilson (85th, 212) also competed, with Conner’s team making its first state finals appearance as a squad but finishing ninth in the team standings. Meanwhile, the boys’ tournament saw no NKY teams advance, though individual players like Ryle’s Hayden Li (24th, 151), St.

Henry’s Parker Isaacs (32nd, 153), and Covington Catholic’s Joseph Mangine (32nd, 153) posted competitive scores. Frederick Douglass’ Anderson Lang secured the boys’ title after a playoff victory, while other NKY players like Jack Woolwine (57th, 159) and Walton-Verona’s Adam Gutman (66th, 164) rounded out the field.
