PGA Tour star Jacob Bridgeman is using his current swing through Japan for more than just tournament play—he’s also turning the trip into a long-awaited honeymoon with his wife. The 26-year-old golfer, who has already made waves in 2026 with multiple victories and his Presidents Cup debut, is competing in the BayCurrent Classic while sharing the experience with his spouse.
Bridgeman first visited Nagoya at 18 for a tournament and has long cherished the country, originally planning to return last year but postponing due to his wife’s prior commitments. This year, the couple combined their delayed honeymoon with the golf event, extending their stay an extra week to explore beyond the course.
Bridgeman enters Sunday’s final round tied for the lead at 13-under par alongside Michael Brennan and Zach Bauchou, though late bogeys on holes 16 and 18 dropped him to two-under 69 in round three. Despite the setbacks, he remains focused on adding another PGA Tour title to his growing résumé while enjoying a personal milestone in a place he loves.
