BCCI junior selection committee: Powar, Praveen Kumar in contention

Several former cricketers are vying for spots on the upcoming five-member junior panel for the national board. Among the applicants are Ramesh Powar and Praveen Kumar, whose contrasting international experience in various formats could heavily influence who secures the chairmanship.

The new committee must take charge by the first week of October, just ahead of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, replacing the outgoing panel led by S. Sharath.
