Delhi is facing significant pressure in the Ranji Trophy after securing only four points across their initial three fixtures. Ahead of their upcoming clash against Services, team captain Ayush Badoni is dealing with a mild fever and a cold while simultaneously carrying the burden of lifting his squad's red-ball performance.
Having already compiled 535 runs across four innings with a pair of double centuries this season, Badoni shifted his preparation strategy following the conclusion of the Indian Premier League. To enhance his concentration and mental discipline for longer matches, the batter utilized meditation and dedicated his off-season training exclusively to red-ball practice.
According to head coach Vijay Dahiya, this mental adjustment has successfully curbed Badoni's impulsiveness at the crease, which was notably demonstrated when his massive knock in Ranchi propelled Delhi beyond a 500-run total.
