Shreyas Iyer: New Zealand series a great learning curve

Shreyas Iyer secured his first overseas series victory as captain after India defeated New Zealand 3-2 in their recent five-match T20I contest. While pleased with the result, Iyer noted that his squad struggled with fielding and bowling consistency throughout the tour, describing the experience as a valuable educational opportunity in unfamiliar conditions.

New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner expressed disappointment over his team failing to capitalize on critical moments during the opening three matches. Despite the series loss, Santner highlighted his side's ability to adapt and perform well in the final two games.
