Asian Games cricket: India to face Sri Lanka in semi-finals after four washouts

Led by Shreyas Iyer, the Indian men's cricket squad will meet Sri Lanka in the Asian Games semi-finals on Thursday after persistent rain in Nagoya forced four washouts, including Sri Lanka's quarter-final against Nepal and India's scheduled fixture. Sri Lanka advanced via their ninth-place ranking over 14th-ranked Nepal, while the other semi-final will pit Pakistan against Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, the Korogi Sports Park previously hosted the women's tournament won by Harmanpreet Kaur's team, leaving the Indian men still waiting to play their first match at the venue.
