Angels dump Kurt Suzuki after one historically bad season as manager

The Los Angeles Angels have parted ways with manager Kurt Suzuki following a single season that resulted in a franchise-worst 62-100 record and a .383 winning percentage. While the organization has offered Suzuki a special assistant position, his future with the club remains uncertain.

Meanwhile, ownership has transitioned from Arte Moreno to Stan Kroenke, signaling a period of significant change for the team. Albert Pujols, who previously managed the Dominican Republic in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, is considered a primary candidate to fill the vacant managerial seat.
