'Completely misleading headline' - Ben Stokes rubbishes Ashes return claims after retirement from international cricket

Ben Stokes has forcefully denied recent media speculation linking him to a potential comeback for the upcoming Ashes tour. The veteran all-rounder took to social media to dismiss the rumors, labeling the original article's framing as completely inaccurate.

Reports had previously speculated about a possible international return due to the player's commitment to play ten red-ball fixtures for Durham during the domestic campaign. However, the former Test captain explicitly rejected any notion of rejoining the national squad for the series against Australia, while also prioritizing domestic success over various upcoming global franchise tournaments.
