Angel Reese’s Blunt Response to Referee Goes Viral Before Dream Star Makes Her Point on the Court

During Game 3 of the WNBA Finals at State Farm Arena, Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese struggled offensively, finishing with eight points on 2-of-12 shooting alongside nine rebounds and three assists. A pivotal moment occurred in the second quarter when Reese was fouled by Golden State Valkyries star Gabby Williams, though no whistle was blown.

After Reese challenged the official, the referee acknowledged the missed call. Reese responded by drawing a foul on the ensuing possession, though she ultimately went 4-of-6 from the free-throw line for the game.

Earlier in the contest, Reese successfully blocked a layup attempt by Williams during the first quarter. Despite Reese's defensive efforts, Williams led the Valkyries with 17 points to secure a five-point victory. The series is now tied, with the teams scheduled to meet for Game 5 at the Chase Center.
