New Zealand secured their first victory in the ongoing five-match series by defeating India by 87 runs in the fourth T20I. Powered by a brilliant 107-run innings from Glenn Phillips and a 65-run contribution from Michael Bracewell, the hosts posted a formidable total of 259/7.
Mayank Yadav led the Indian bowling attack with three wickets, while Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav, Axar Patel, and Nitish Kumar Reddy each picked up one.
In response, India struggled early as Jacob Duffy dismissed Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan in the first over. Despite efforts from Tilak Varma and Naman Dhir, the visitors were restricted to 172/9.
Duffy finished with four wickets, effectively halting any momentum for the Indian side. India still holds a 3-1 lead in the series heading into the final match.
