2028 Four-Star DB Zion "Ziggy" Dobson Recaps Visit with Tennessee Football

Top-tier defensive prospect Zion Dobson recently traveled to observe the Volunteers in action as Texas narrowly defeated the hosts by a score of 20 to 17. The talented defender from North Carolina took in the electric game-day environment and spent valuable time interacting directly with head coach Josh Heupel along with assistants Anthony Poindexter, Coach Zdebski, and Coach Robinson.

During the contest, Dobson highlighted a brilliant interception by Kayin Lee against a Texas wide receiver as a major highlight of his trip.

Following the weekend outing, the high school standout expressed admiration for the competitive nature and physical style displayed by the defensive unit. While he does not plan another return trip to the campus during the current calendar year, he intends to keep communication open with the coaching staff while mapping out a busy autumn schedule featuring upcoming stops at South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Florida State, LSU, Georgia, and Notre Dame.
