With India holding a commanding 3-0 lead in their five-match T20I series against New Zealand, former opener Aakash Chopra is urging the team management to experiment with their lineup. He specifically suggests resting Arshdeep Singh for the upcoming fourth match in Auckland to provide another opportunity for fast bowler Mayank Yadav.
Chopra also emphasized that Prince Yadav should remain in the playing XI, arguing that dead rubber matches are the ideal time to test younger talent. Regarding the bowling attack, he maintained that Bhuvneshwar Kumar should continue to feature in all five games despite his current struggles with form.
Additionally, Chopra noted that if Ishan Kishan becomes available, the team will face a difficult selection dilemma, potentially requiring a rotation strategy to accommodate him alongside other top-order batters like Shreyas Iyer and Tilak Varma.
