'We have to back ourselves' - Shreyas Iyer reveals mindset ahead of West Indies T20I series

Indian skipper Shreyas Iyer has shared his vision for the upcoming five-match T20 international contest against the West Indies, emphasizing an aggressive and fearless style of play. During his pre-series remarks, Iyer stressed that teammates must fully trust their natural instincts rather than worrying about outside pressure, noting that mutual support is vital during difficult moments.

He also confirmed that his primary goal is capturing the series victory first before trying out alternative squad combinations, aiming to prevent any insecurity or doubt within the dressing room. The opening fixture of the multi-match tour is scheduled to get underway on October 6.
