
India recently concluded the Aichi-Nagoya continental multi-sport competition with a medal haul of 85, which included 21 gold medals. While the previous edition in Hangzhou featured 28 top-podium finishes, the recent campaign saw only eight of those titles successfully retained by the delegation.
Harmanpreet Singh led the men in hockey to another gold, while both men and women secured titles in cricket and kabaddi alongside three team events in compound archery. However, all thirteen solo and pair disciplines failed to defend their previous crowns.
