Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna recently shared his awe after watching teammate Virat Kohli construct a phenomenal century during the opening one-day international against the West Indies. India secured a comfortable victory with more than eight overs to spare in the series opener, bolstered by strong batting performances from both Kohli and Shubman Gill.
From the dugout, Krishna admitted he could only marvel at the aggressive stroke-making while wondering how opposing bowlers could possibly counter such an onslaught. Beyond admiring his senior teammate, the right-arm quick delivered a solid personal performance by picking up two dismissals during the match.
He currently stands as India's most prolific bowler in the fifty-over format for the year, accumulating fifteen wickets across eight appearances. Reflecting on his ongoing success, the bowler credited clear communication and a shared team desire for constant improvement throughout every session.
He also expressed confidence in the current depth of fast-bowling talent within the national setup, noting that healthy competition in the practice nets leaves the team's future in safe hands.
