Seahawks rule out Sam Darnold for Week 2, but potential timetable for return emerges

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold has officially been ruled out for the team's upcoming Week 2 matchup. Despite being sidelined for the contest, an expected timeframe for his eventual return to action has begun to take shape.

Furthermore, the franchise does not intend to designate their primary signal-caller to injured reserve, suggesting optimism that his absence will not require an extended stay.
