Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese struggled in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals, shooting just 2‑of‑12 from the floor and committing six turnovers as the Dream fell 67‑62 to the Golden State Valkyries. The loss followed a dominant stretch in which Reese posted double‑doubles in three straight games and averaged 25.5 points and 14 rebounds across the series‑opening victories.
After Atlanta trailed by 16 points at halftime – the biggest deficit of their playoff run – Reese admitted she rushed her shots and failed to finish around the basket as she had earlier in the series. She also took responsibility for her share of the team’s 17 turnovers, noting two offensive fouls and mistimed passes among her six personal miscues.
Rhyne Howard led the Dream with 19 points, while the team shot only 33.3 percent and turned the ball over 17 times, prompting a need for adjustments ahead of Game 5 in Golden State.
Despite the setback, the Dream remain in a strong position, having won two games in the series and poised to chase their first championship. Reese emphasized that she will work on pacing her shots and ball handling to improve in the upcoming contest, which moves to the Valkyries’ home court for the next matchup.
