‘Nobody Turns On a WNBA Game to Watch Angel Reese Make 2 Baskets’ – Analyst Rips League Over Finals Scheduling Mess

Media personality Craig Carton criticized the WNBA for scheduling Game 6 of the Finals during a weekday lunchtime slot. The league moved the contest between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream to 12:30 p.m.

ET due to a venue conflict with an NBA game. Carton argued that the league would have prioritized a primetime broadcast if Caitlin Clark were participating in the series.

He also questioned the current appeal of the league while criticizing the recent offensive performance of Angel Reese, who recorded two baskets in each of the previous two matchups. The game is set to take place at State Farm Arena, which will host the Atlanta Hawks and the Cleveland Cavaliers later that same evening.
