Victor Wembanyama on 60 Minutes: Spurs star explains why 'villain' label didn't bother him during NBA Finals

During a television interview scheduled for this coming Sunday, San Antonio standout Victor Wembanyama addressed his transition from a fan favorite to an adversarial figure during the most recent postseason. Throughout his third professional campaign, the towering center guided his franchise to the championship round before ultimately falling to New York in a five-game series.

When questioned about embracing an antagonist persona on the sport's biggest stage, the athlete maintained that outside noise failed to distract him from his on-court objectives.
