The Golden State Valkyries entered Game 6 of the 2026 WNBA Finals sitting one victory away from capturing the championship trophy following a hard-fought 64-55 triumph in the previous matchup, fueled by solid contributions from Kiah Stokes and Veronica Burton. As the action shifted for the latest contest, the Atlanta Dream exploded out of the gate behind a massive 13-0 surge, eventually establishing a 32-15 lead at the conclusion of the opening frame.

During the early stages of the second quarter, Atlanta continued to dictate the pace of the matchup.
