"I won't say": Yashasvi Jaiswal breaks silence on poor form in New Zealand after scoring 155

Yashasvi Jaiswal rediscovered his rhythm during the second unofficial Test in Christchurch, crafting an unbeaten 155 from 162 deliveries to help India A recover from a first-innings deficit. Alongside Yash Rathod, who also finished not out on 100, the pair forged an unbroken 247-run partnership to reach 282/2.

This performance followed a challenging start to the series for Jaiswal, who had previously recorded scores of 17, 5, and a duck.

Reflecting on the conditions, Jaiswal credited his success to a disciplined approach and technical adjustments, such as playing closer to his body. He noted that the chilly weather, persistent cloud cover, and significant seam movement from the new ball made batting particularly difficult.

The opener emphasized that patience was vital when facing a New Zealand A attack that consistently targeted challenging lines.
