“Focus on ourselves” – Virgil van Dijk sends strong message to Liverpool teammates

Following a tight home defeat to Arsenal, Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk urged his squad to ignore the rest of the league table and concentrate entirely on their own internal development. The team currently sits nine points behind the league leaders after suffering their second home loss in a month at Anfield.

Van Dijk acknowledged that the club is undergoing a transitional phase under new leadership and must work hard to eliminate costly errors.
