'Don't get too comfortable': Dana White, Valentina Shevchenko react to Natália Silva's UFC 332 title win

Natália Silva secured the vacant women's flyweight championship by outpointing Wang Cong via unanimous scores of 48-47, 48-47, and 49-46 on Saturday evening. This victory extended Silva's undefeated promotional streak to nine wins, following earlier successes against former titleholders like Jéssica Andrade, Alexa Grasso, and Rose Namajunas.

Following the conclusion, long-reigning former champion Valentina Shevchenko offered public congratulations while signaling her intention to reclaim the belt upon returning from an injury layoff expected to last into 2027. Meanwhile, UFC leadership suggested that Silva ought to remain active while waiting for Shevchenko's recovery rather than sitting out for a title defense.
