Yuta Suguira delivered a remarkable performance during the third round of the Compliance Solutions Championship by recording a twelve-under score of fifty-eight. Competing at the Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma, the twenty-five-year-old athlete secured his place in history as only the fourth competitor to break fifty-nine on the developmental tour.
Despite carding a lone bogey alongside an eagle and ten birdies, the Japanese golfer managed identical twenty-nine strokes across both halves of the course under calm, windless conditions.
Several other competitors also took advantage of the gettable layout and preferred-lies format during Saturday's action. William Sides and Ross Steelman both posted impressive rounds of sixty, while tournament leader Carson Young remained under watch for a potential sub-sixty finish.
Suguira previously claimed a victory at the Advent Health Championship late in August.
