Wycombe sign ex-England striker Ings

League One outfit Wycombe Wanderers have secured the services of veteran forward Danny Ings on a free transfer. The 34-year-old enters his seventeenth professional campaign following a stint with Sheffield United, marking the eighth destination of his career.

Ings could make his initial appearance for his new side during their upcoming home fixture against Reading. The team currently sits in fourteenth place in the standings under the guidance of interim boss Tom Hounsell, following the departure of former manager Michael Duff earlier in the month.
