The West Virginia Mountaineers have added former Utah running back NaQuari Rogers to their roster following injuries in their backfield, giving coach Rich Rodriguez a new offensive weapon ahead of their weekend game against Iowa State. Rogers secured a preliminary injunction for a fifth year of eligibility and officially signed with WVU after previously rushing for sixty-one yards against them last season.
During the 2025 campaign with Utah, he recorded 387 rushing yards and a team-high eleven touchdowns, tying for third in the Big 12. Across his collegiate career spanning stops at Campbell, New Mexico, and Utah, Rogers has totaled 1,598 rushing yards and twenty-six scores.
