Where Tennessee is ranked after Texas loss in US LBM Coaches Poll

Following a narrow three-point defeat to the top-ranked squad during the previous weekend, the Volunteers slid four positions down to the seventeenth spot in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll. The team's overall record stands at three wins and one loss, which includes an opening conference setback.

Looking ahead to the fifth week of the college schedule, the program prepares to welcome the Tigers to its home turf. The upcoming contest will also serve as a homecoming for the opposing leader, who previously served as an offensive coordinator and tight ends coach for the hosts.
