Virgil van Dijk takes aim at VAR after Liverpool’s defeat to Arsenal

Liverpool suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Arsenal after Kai Havertz scored the opening goal in the 16th minute. Following the match, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk expressed severe frustration over a missed penalty decision involving Jurrien Timber and Alexander Isak, pointing out that video assistants ignored a clear shirt pull inside the area.

Despite launching 17 shots during the contest, the home side failed to place a single effort on target, continuing a troubling scoring drought at their stadium.
