Virat Kohli stays loyal to MS Dhoni with heartfelt admission

Indian star batter Virat Kohli recently addressed frequent comparisons to national icons during an interview, expressing deep respect while maintaining distinct boundaries. He emphasized that legendary figures hold permanent and unique places in the sport, noting that Sachin Tendulkar remains Sachin and MS Dhoni will always be his inaugural captain.

Reflecting on his early career struggles in international cricket, Kohli acknowledged the vital backing he received from MS Dhoni, who shielded him from being dropped and later transitioned leadership roles to him. Although they displayed contrasting temperaments on the field, with Dhoni earning a reputation for composure and Kohli displaying fierce aggression, the pair forged a strong bond that shaped Indian leadership.
