Vic Fangio says it would be "miraculous" if Jalyx Hunt plays this week

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jalyx Hunt suffered knee and ankle injuries in last Sunday’s 24–27 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he recorded three tackles and a pass deflection. His absence has left the Eagles’ defense thin on the edge, as they already played without Jonathan Greenard in Week 5 due to an ankle issue.

With Hunt’s status uncertain, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio suggested Tuesday that a return against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6 would be highly unlikely, calling it a near-impossible scenario. Hunt has contributed 15 tackles, a tackle for loss, and four quarterback hits this season before his injury, but his recovery timeline remains unclear as the team waits until Friday to issue its Week 6 injury designations.
