Valverde’s late winner breaks AEK Athens hearts as Real Madrid twice come from behind

Real Madrid maintained their perfect Champions League group stage record by securing a dramatic 3-2 victory away against AEK Athens. Despite falling behind twice to goals from Aboubakary Koita and Stavros Pilios, Jose Mourinho's squad rallied through strikes from Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe before Federico Valverde clinched the win with a late long-range effort.

This result marks the seventh consecutive win for the Spanish side across all competitions. The match saw Vinicius Junior return to the starting lineup, while Thibaut Courtois faced significant pressure from the Greek side throughout the contest.
