USC news: Desman Stephens suspended for hit on Dante Moore, antics afterward

Following a recent defeat against Oregon, USC has issued a one-game suspension to linebacker Desman Stephens for targeting quarterback Dante Moore and subsequently celebrating on the field while the injured player received medical attention. The program condemned the defender's behavior as unacceptable, noting that he accepts the consequences and that the team wishes Moore a full recovery.

Despite the disruption and the absence of their star quarterback, the Ducks maintained offensive momentum in Los Angeles, securing a 41-27 victory. USC now prepares to face Washington without Stephens, who will miss more than six quarters of total playing time as a result of the penalty.
