USC football rumors: Lincoln Riley's seat is heating up after latest big-game loss to Oregon

Pressure is mounting around the leadership in Los Angeles following the eighteenth-ranked squad's recent fourteen-point defeat to fifteenth-ranked Oregon. Observers note that the head coach faces questions regarding his tenure, though a massive contractual termination payout creates a significant hurdle for any potential dismissal.

The program now sits at fifteen losses against ranked opponents during his tenure and must navigate upcoming matchups against several formidable conference rivals without a suspended defender.
