Updated Bowl Game projections after Penn State’s loss to Wisconsin

Following a damaging defeat against Wisconsin on Saturday, Penn State has seen its postseason trajectory shift dramatically away from earlier projections of a College Football Playoff berth. Major outlets now project the Nittany Lions toward a range of alternative destinations, with USA TODAY slating the squad for the ReliaQuest Bowl against Mississippi, while ESPN points toward a Citrus Bowl clash with LSU.

Additionally, CBS Sports pairs the team with Missouri in the ReliaQuest Bowl, and On3 Sports anticipates an appearance in the Duke's Mayo Bowl to face Virginia.
