Update: Australian MotoGP race cancelled at Phillip Island

Severe weather conditions at Phillip Island have forced the total cancellation of the Australian MotoGP event. Persistent poor visibility prevented the medical helicopter from operating safely, leading officials to scrap the Moto3, Moto2, and premier class races entirely.

Riders will instead perform a final parade lap behind a safety car to acknowledge the fans before the event concludes. Maximo Quiles enters this period of disruption already confirmed as the Moto3 title holder, while Jorge Martin remains sidelined for the premier class due to physical injury.
