The Green Bay Packers secured a 23-13 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6 on Sunday night at Lambeau Field, extending their win streak to three games on Sunday night. The Packers took a commanding 17-0 lead into halftime and held Dallas to just one scoring drive until the fourth quarter, as quarterback Jordan Love led the offense with 276 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception on 23 of 41 completions.
The win improved Green Bay’s record to 4-2, while the Cowboys dropped to 2-4 following the loss.
Offensive Adjustments
At receiver, Christian Watson (64 yards on three receptions) and Matthew Golden (63 snaps) dominated the route-running, while Golden’s six-catch, 104-yard performance with a touchdown highlighted his growing role.
Defensive Highlights
Defensively, the Packers’ secondary made key plays, including cornerback Brandon Cisse’s active role in the game. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott struggled under pressure, finishing with 258 passing yards on 34 of 54 attempts, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while being hit seven times and sacked once.
The Cowboys’ lone touchdown came on a 1-yard run by Javonte Williams in the second half, and they converted a fourth-and-2 with a pass to CeeDee Lamb. Tucker Kraft returned after exiting late in the second quarter with an apparent leg injury, while Dee Winters intercepted Love, though the pick-six was overturned.
Green Bay’s special teams also contributed, with kicker Trey Smack making three field goals of 25, 44, and 29 yards.
The Packers’ offensive line saw four players inactive, including three linemen, while the team listed five players as questionable ahead of the game. Three Packers—two of them unexpected—were placed on injured reserve before Week 6, further complicating the depth chart.
With the win, Green Bay has now won each of its last three games.
