Today's top games to watch, best bets, odds: Panthers vs. Packers, Kings vs. Pelicans and more

The Green Bay Packers (4-3) host the Carolina Panthers (3-3) at Lambeau Field this Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET for Week 8 of the 2026 season.

Green Bay seeks to recover from a 20-17 loss to the Detroit Lions, a game where Josh Jacobs returned from the Commissioner's Exempt List to record 36 rushing yards on 11 carries and a 25-yard touchdown catch among 55 receiving yards on five receptions.

Carolina arrives after a 43-13 defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While the Panthers' defense ranks sixth in the league against the pass, allowing 195.7 yards per game, they must now face Jordan Love, who has thrown for 1,958 yards.

Last year at this venue, Ryan Fitzgerald secured a 16-13 win for Carolina with a 49-yard field goal, though Green Bay is currently a 3.5-point favorite.
